Ukraine’s ferroalloys exports down 6.5 percent in H1

In the January-June period this year, Ukraine exported $491.53 million worth of ferroalloys, down 16.1 percent year on year, with the total export volume for the given period amounting to 434,979 mt, down 6.5 percent year on year, according to the data released by the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine.

The main importers of Ukrainian ferroalloys in terms of value in the given period were the Netherlands (27.89 percent), Turkey (18.29 percent) and Russia (10.96 percent).

In the first six months of this year, Ukraine imported 26,439 mt of ferroalloys, down 56.2 percent year on year, worth a total of $57.54 million, down 53.3 percent year on year. The main suppliers of ferroalloy imports in the January-June period this year were Russia, which supplied 25 percent of the total import volume, India (12.26 percent) and Georgia (11.99 percent).
