Ukraine’s automotive output declines in January-May

In the January-May period of the current year, Ukrainian automakers produced 1,260 of passenger cars, down 94.2 percent year on year, according to the data issued by the Ukrainian Motor Vehicle Manufacturers Association (Ukrautoprom).
 
In particular, in the first five month of this year Ukraine's output of buses went up by 50.3 percent to 162 units, while its production of commercial cars decreased by 30 percent to 505 units, year on year.

In May alone, Ukraine's passenger car output decreased by 91.8 percent year on year and by 33.7 percent to 289 units, month on month.
