Ukraine’s steel pipe export volume rises six percent in Jan over Dec

In January this year, Ukraine's steel pipe exports increased by six percent month on month and by 176 percent year on year to 166,210 mt, valued at $188.4 million.
 
Specifically, in January, Ukraine exported 68,850 mt of seamless pipes - up 30 percent month on month, of which 37,110 mt were delivered to Russia, with 8,330 mt exported to US and 4,880 mt shipped to Libya.
 
Ukraine's exports of steel pipes of more than 406.4 mm outside diameter amounted to 66,150 mt in January - down four percent month on month, of which 62,460 mt were delivered to Russia, 1,980 mt to Azerbaijan and 740 mt to Kazakhstan.
 
In addition, in January, Ukraine exported 31,210 mt of other tubes, pipes and hollow profiles - down 11 percent month on month, of which 14,460 mt were shipped to Russia, 3,700 mt to Belarus and 2,600 mt to Azerbaijan.
