In September this year, Ukraine's steel pipe exports decreased by 22.5 percent compared to August and by 25.8 percent compared to September 2009, to 98,540 mt, valued at about $105.6 million, down 23 percent month on month.
Specifically, in September this year Ukraine exported 44,390 mt of seamless pipes - down 23.3 percent month on month, of which 28,070 mt were delivered to Russia, 4,290 mt were exported to Belarus, and 2,360 mt were shipped to Turkey.
Ukraine's exports of steel pipes of more than 406.5 mm outside diameter amounted to 26,890 mt in September - down 30.4 percent month on month, of which 24,240 mt were delivered to Russia, 880 mt were exported to Belarus, and 510 mt were shipped to Germany.
In addition, in September this year, Ukraine exported 27,260 mt of pipes and hollow profiles - down 11 percent month on month, of which 11,510 mt were shipped to Russia, 5,300 mt were delivered to Belarus, 2,430 mt were exported to Poland, and 2,430 were delivered to Germany.
In January-September this year, Ukraine's steel pipe exports decreased by 16.4 percent year on year to 876,800 mt, valued at about $898.3 million.
