Ukraine’s scrap exports up 20.6 percent in 2011

According to the data released by metal trading enterprise Ukrainian Mining and Metallurgical Company (UGMK), in 2011 Ukraine's scrap exports increased by 20.6 percent year on year to 801,800 mt. In December alone, Ukraine's scrap exports increased by 3.2 percent compared to November, rising to 64,900 mt.

In 2011, Ukraine's scrap imports increased by 14.6 times compared to 2010, rising to 126,900 mt.
