Ukraine’s scrap exports increase by 59 percent in Jan-Apr

According to the data issued by Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers, in January-April of the current year Ukraine's scrap exports increased by 59 percent year on year to 184,000 mt. In April alone, Ukraine's scrap exports rose by 75.2 percent compared to March, increasing to 60,100 mt.

In the first four months of the current year, Ukraine's scrap imports decreased by 63 percent compared to January-April 2011, falling to 22,200 mt.
