Ukraine's pig iron exports up 44% in February

According to data released by Governmental Committee of Statistics, in February 2006, Ukraine's export of pig iron grew 44 percent or 30,300 tons month on month to 99,120 tons. Revenue from pig iron export grew 46.3 percent or $6.65 million to $21 million in February. Year on year decrease in pig iron export was reported as 4 percent or 4,100 tons in February 2006. In January-February 2006 pig iron export decreased 43.6 percent or 129,860 tons year on year to 167,940 tons.
