Ukraine’s iron ore exports up 7.7 percent in 2014

In 2014, Ukraine's iron ore exports rose by 7.7 percent year on year to 40.894 million mt, while Ukraine’s iron ore imports increased by 3.3 percent year on year to 3.212 million mt, according to the Ukrainian association of metal producers Metallurgprom.
 
In 2014, exports of iron ore from Ukraine amounted to a value of $3.325 billion, down 11.1 percent year on year, while the value of Ukraine's iron ore imports totaled $246.159 million, up 3.5 percent year on year, according to Ukraine's Ministry of Revenue and Duties.
