Ukraine’s ferrous scrap exports down 35 percent in January

In January this year, Ukraine exported 40,701 mt of ferrous scrap metal, down 34.9 percent year on year, worth a total of $11.827 million, down 40.5 percent year on year, according to Ukraine's Ministry of Revenue and Duties.

In the given month, Ukraine imported 251 mt of ferrous scrap, down 98.1 percent compared to January 2014, worth a total of $390,000, down 91.5 percent year on year.
