Ukraine’s ferrous product imports and exports rise in January-May

According to the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine (Ukrstat), in the first five months of the current year Ukraine's ferrous metal exports increased by 35.1 percent year on year to a total value of $7.811 billion, while exports of products made from ferrous metal went up by 78.8 percent to a total value of $1.194 billion.

Meanwhile, in the given period Ukraine registered a 55.6 percent increase year on year in its ferrous metal imports to $1.027 million and a 49.4 percent rise in its imports of products made from ferrous metal to $387 million.
