Ukraine’s crude steel output down 16 percent in 2015

In 2015, Ukraine's crude steel output decreased by 16 percent to 22.94 million mt, its pig iron output fell 12 percent to 21.88 million mt and its finished steel production decreased by 16 percent to 20.02 million mt, all year on year, according to the data issued by Ukrainian association of metal producers Metallurgprom.
 
In the given year, the country's metallurgical coke output declined by 16 percent year on year to 11.61 million mt, while steel pipe production decreased by 40 percent year on year to 850,000 mt.
 
Meanwhile, in December alone, Ukraine produced 1.93 million mt of crude steel, 1.668 million mt of finished steel products, and 1.959 million mt of pig iron.
