Ukraine’s coke production down 39.6 percent in January

According to the Ukrainian Coke Producers' Association (UkrKoks), in January this year Ukrainian coke-chemical plants' production of metallurgical coke of six percent moisture content decreased by 39.6 percent compared to January 2014 to 900,000 mt.

In December last year, Ukraine's coke production amounted to 890,000 mt, while the country produced 850,000 mt of coke in November, 849,000 mt in October, 649,000 mt in September, 738,000 mt in August, 1.285 million mt in July, and  1.373 million mt in June.
