Ukraine to produce 2.1 million mt of crude steel in December

In December this year, crude steel production in Ukraine is expected to total 2.1 million mt, according to the Ukrainian association of metal producers Metallurgprom. In December, Ukrainian companies plan to produce 2 million mt of pig iron and 1.8 million mt of rolled steel.
 
Metallurgprom predicted production of 2 million mt of pig iron, 2.1 million mt of crude steel and 1.8 million mt of rolled steel for November this year.
 
During October, average daily outputs amounted to 66,600 mt of pig iron, down two percent, 63,300 mt of crude steel, down three percent, and 57,000 mt of rolled steel, down three percent, all compared to the previous month.
 
Additionally, for the whole of 2015 Ukraine expects to achieve 22 million mt of pig iron output, 23 million mt of crude steel output and 21 million mt of rolled steel output.
