Ukraine to produce 1.9 million mt of crude steel in October

In October this year, crude steel production in Ukraine is expected to total 1.9 million mt, according to the Ukrainian association of metal producers Metallurgprom.

In October, Ukrainian companies plan to produce 1.9 million mt of pig iron and 1.8 million mt of rolled steel.

In September this year, Metallurgprom predicted 1.9 million mt of pig iron production, 2 million mt of crude steel and 1.8 million mt of rolled steel.

During first week of September average output of pig iron per day totalled to 63,800 mt, liquid steel to 61.400 mt, and rolled steel to 54,200 mt.
