Ukraine imports $1.25 billion worth of coal in January-September

According to the data issued by the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, in the January-September period of the current year Ukraine imported coke and anthracite worth a total of $1.25 billion. The main suppliers of coal to Ukraine in the given period were Russia, the US and Australia.
 
Coal imports from Russia totaled $567.4 million in monetary terms, coal imports from the US amounted to $328.5 million, while imported coal from Australia totaled $95.94 million in value. Coal imports from other countries amounted to $257.8 million in total.
 
Ukraine’s exports of coal and anthracite in the January-September of the current year totaled $41.14 million in monetary terms.
