Ukraine withdraws scrap from free-trade with Moldova

On June 5, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine took a decision to temporarily withdraw scrap from the free-trade regime with Moldova. The decision will be in place until Ukrainian and Moldovan authorities take a joined decision regulating trade in scrap. Ukrainian side commented that the decision was taken to stabilize the supplies of scrap to the domestic enterprises and stop illegal re-export of Ukrainian scrap from Moldova.
