Ukraine to revoke VAT on scrap

The Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers has announced that it intends to revoke VAT collection from all financial operations on scrap of ferrous and non-ferrous metals in 2007. The plans to revoke VAT on scrap are outlined in article 9 part 2 of the draft government budget for 2007, submitted before the Ukrainian parliament last Friday.
