Ukraine to procure 5.4 million mt of ferrous scrap in 2014

According to Ukrainian state-run company "Ukrainian Industrial External Expertize", for the whole of the current year Ukraine is expected to procure 5.4 million mt of ferrous metal scrap, compared to 5.7 million mt in 2013.
 
In the January-September period of this year, Ukraine procured 4.1 million mt of scrap as compared to 4.2 million mt in the same period of last year. In the first quarter of 2015, Ukraine will face some scrap procuring difficulties, usual for the winter period.
