Ukraine's Interdepartmental Commission on International Trade (MKMT) has decided to prolong its quota for imports of steel seamless casing and tubing with diameters up to 406.4 mm up to the end of March 2015.

For the period from October 1, 2014 to March 31, 2015, the quota in question is 9,328 mt.
As SteelOrbis previously reported, in 2008 Ukraine introduced a three-year quota for imports of seamless and OCTG pipes with outside diameter not exceeding 406.4 mm at the level of 14,504-15,955 mt/year for the period starting from October 1, 2008 to September 30, 2011. In September 2011, quota was prolonged for three years until October 2014.
