Ukraine posts increased steel pipe imports and exports in January-June

According to the data for the first half of the current year, Ukraine's steel pipe exports increased by 58.1 percent year on year to 880,060 mt, worth a total of $1.070 billion. In June alone, Ukraine's steel pipe exports rose by 10.1 percent compared to May, reaching 141,990 mt.

In the first six months of 2011, Ukraine registered a 42.6 percent increase year on year in its steel pipe imports to 37,570 mt, worth $71.24 million. In June alone, Ukraine's steel pipe imports increased by 14.8 percent compared to May, reaching 5,660 mt.
