Ukraine issues scrap export data for Jan-Feb

According to data released by the Ukrainian State Customs Services, during the January-February 2008 period scrap exports from the country increased by two percent year on year to 79,470 metric tons.

As reported at the beginning of March, during the first two months of 2008 scrap supplies to the Ukrainian steel mills went up by eight percent year on year to 936,000 metric tons.
