Ukraine issues production results for January-October

In the first 10 months of the current year, Ukraine registered a 14.4 percent decrease in its finished steel product output to 20.528 million mt, a 14.8 percent decrease in its crude steel output to 23.415 million mt, and a 12 percent decline in its pig iron production to 21.398 million mt, all year on year, according to the data issued by Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers.

The country's production of metallurgical coke in the given period declined by 18.4 percent year on year to 12.047 million mt.

In October alone, Ukraine produced  1.920 million mt of crude steel - up 8.4 percent, 1.643 million of finished steel products - up 6.3 percent, and 1.662 million mt of pig iron - up 8.4 percent, all on month-on-month basis.
