Ukraine issues production results for 2014

In 2014, Ukraine registered a17.7 percent decrease in finished steel product output to 23.793 million mt, a 16.9 percent decrease in its crude steel output to 27.161 million mt, and a 14.8 percent decline in its pig iron production to 24.810 million mt, all year on year, according to the data issued by Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers.

In December alone, Ukraine's production of crude steel declined by 27.9 percent to 1.921 million mt, production of pig iron went down by 28.3 percent to 1.774 million mt, while finished steel product output decreased by 31.1 percent to 1.663 million mt, all on year-on-year basis.
