Ukraine issues October coke import and export data

In October this year, Ukraine increased its coke exports by 33 percent month on month and by 17.6 percent year on year to 117,750 mt.
 
Of the country's total coke exports in October this year, 30,700 mt were delivered to Iran, 18,020 mt were supplied to Slovakia, 15,240 mt were delivered to Romania, 14,140 mt were supplied to Turkey, 9,180 mt were shipped to Georgia, 8,610 mt were delivered to Russia, and 8,530 mt were shipped to Serbia. The value of Ukraine's coke export sales in October was up by about 26 percent compared to September, amounting to $36.83 million.

In January-October this year, Ukraine's coke export volume increased by 56.4 percent year on year to about 1.14 million mt, valued at $331.7 million.  
  
On the other hand, in October this year Ukraine's coke import volume increased by 109 percent month on month, but decreased by 74.6 percent year on year to 18,090 mt.

Meanwhile, in the first 10 months of 2010 the country's imports of coke increased by 89 percent year on year to 234,160 mt, valued at $69.64 million.
