The Ukrainian Ministry of Economy intends to consult representatives of the European Commission (EC) on the question of a possible rise in the current European Union (EU) quota for imports of Ukrainian steel products on August 9-10.

Director of metallurgical department under the Ukrainian Ministry of Industrial Policy Mr. Sergey Sipotuk has stated that Ukraine will ask the EC to raise its current year quota by 855,340 metric ton.
