UAE-based DANA Steel Processing Industries LLC has announced that it will commission a new heavy plate service center in its Ajman facility, adding to its existing steel plate service center in Dubai, both strategically located to serve the UAE and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) markets.

The new cut-to-length line with a monthly capacity of 15,000 mt will be able to process all steel coils in a thickness range of 5 mm to 20 mm and 800 mm to 2,000 mm in width.

The new line will produce all heavy plate grades including commercial, shipbuilding and high tensile for main heavy steel plate consuming industries such as transport, haulage, engineering, mining, recycling and construction.
