Kocaeli-based Turkish steel wire and rope producer Celik Halat ve Tel Sanayii Inc. has announced its financial results for 2014.
In the given year, the company posted a net profit of TRY 7.8 million ($3.09 million), compared to a net loss of TRY 608,127 in 2013, while the sales revenues of the company increased by 19 percent year on year to TRY 157 million ($62.3 million). The company's operating profit in 2014 amounted to TRY 9.45 million ($3.75 million), falling 1.1 percent compared to 2013.
In 2014, Celik Halat ve Tel Sanayii produced 59,527 metric tons of steel products, up 6.3 percent year on year.
In the given period, Celik Halat ve Tel Sanayii's steel rope output totaled 11,370 metric tons, rising by eight percent, its galvanized wire production amounted to 3,015 metric tons, up 39.2 percent, spring wire output decreased by 2.03 percent to 7,623 metric tons, its bead wire production decreased by 9.3 percent to 4,945 metric tons, while its pre-stressed wire strand production totaled 32,574 metric tons, increasing by 8.3 percent, all compared to the previous year.
In 2014, product sales of Celik Halat ve Tel Sanayi increased by 10.3 percent year on year to 60,676 metric tons.
