Turkish metal manufacturing capacity usage up in Feb from Jan

In February this year, the capacity utilization rate in the Turkish basic metal manufacturing industry was 75.9 percent, up from 75.4 percent recorded in January, while the capacity utilization rate in the Turkish basic metal manufacturing industry was 73.8 percent in February last year, according to the provisional data released by the Central Bank of Turkey.
 
Meanwhile, in February of the current year the capacity utilization rate in the manufacture of metal products, except machinery and equipment, increased on month-on-month basis to 72.1 percent and was up from the 70.3 percent recorded in February 2013.
 
The capacity utilization rate in Turkey's general manufacturing industry, on the other hand, was at 73.9 percent in February this year, decreasing compared to January and up from 72.2 percent in February last year.
