Turkish construction turnover index up 6.9 percent in Q3 from Q2

The Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) has released the domestic construction sector indicators for the third quarter of this year.
 
The turnover index in the domestic construction sector in the third quarter of this year increased by 6.9 percent from the previous quarter and rose by 3.3 percent compared to the same quarter of 2015.
 
Accordingly, in the second quarter of this year the calendar adjusted production index in Turkey's domestic construction sector decreased by 0.3 percent year on year to 144.2 points, while the production index in building construction was down 0.2 percent year on year to 149.8 points. Meanwhile, in the given quarter, the production index in Turkey's civil engineering sector was recorded at 125.9 points, decreasing by 0.8 percent year on year.
