Turkish basic metal manufacturing capacity use rises in August from July

In August this year, the capacity utilization rate in the Turkish basic metal manufacturing industry was 76.2 percent, up from 74.4 percent recorded in July, while the capacity utilization rate in the Turkish basic metal manufacturing industry was 74.2 percent in August 2015, according to the provisional data released by the Central Bank of Turkey.
                             
Meanwhile, in August of the current year the capacity utilization rate in the manufacture of metal products, except machinery and equipment, was 71.8 percent, increasing from 71.7 percent recorded in July but down from 72.5 percent in August last year.
 
The capacity utilization rate in Turkey's general manufacturing industry, on the other hand, was at 75.2 percent in August this year, down from the 75.7 percent recorded in the previous month but rising from 74.8 percent in the same month of 2015.
