Turkish basic metal manufacturing capacity use declines in March

In March this year, the capacity utilization rate in the Turkish basic metal manufacturing industry was 72 percent, down from 74 percent recorded in February, while the capacity utilization rate in the Turkish basic metal manufacturing industry was 74.3 percent in March 2014, according to the provisional data released by the Central Bank of Turkey.
 
Meanwhile, in March of the current year the capacity utilization rate in the manufacture of metal products, except machinery and equipment, was 71.4 percent, down from 71.6 percent recorded in February and decreasing from 72.1 percent in March last year.
 
The capacity utilization rate in Turkey's general manufacturing industry, on the other hand, was at 72.4 percent in March this year, down from the 72.8 percent recorded in the previous month and declining from 73.1 percent in March 2014.
