According to the statistics released by the Turkish Statistics Institute (TUIK), Turkey's monthly industrial turnover index in June this year increased by 3.8 percent year on year and was up by 11.3 percent month on month, following the 1.6 percent month-on-month decrease recorded in May.
In June this year, the industrial turnover index for the manufacture of basic metals in Turkey increased by 1.1 percent year on year and moved down by 1.1 percent from the previous month. In June, the industrial turnover index for fabricated metal product manufacturing, except machinery and equipment, in Turkey increased by 10.8 percent year on year and was up by four percent from the previous month.
