According to the data provided by the Istanbul Mineral and Metals Exporters' Association (IMMIB), in August this year Turkey's total steel pipe exports amounted to 145,930 metric tons, rising by 27.38 percent year on year. Meanwhile, the revenue generated by these exports totaled $129.06 million, improving by 6.68 percent compared to August 2009.
In August, the average export price of Turkish steel pipe amounted to $885/mt, falling by $172/mt or 16.25 percent from August 2009 levels.

Meanwhile, in the first eight months of 2010, Turkey's steel pipe exports edged up by 2.32 percent, reaching 1.09 million metric tons, while the revenue for these exports stood at $972.93 million, decreasing by 4.24 percent, both compared to the corresponding period of 2009.
