Turkey's steel exports decreased by 1.3 percent to 1.66 million mt, valued at $1.38 billion, down 1.6 percent, both on year-on-year basis. In the given month,
Turkey's billet exports decreased by 48.5 percent to 60,000 mt, while only 24,000 mt of slab exports were recorded. In December last year, flat product exports increased by 5.2 percent to 208,000 mt, long product exports increased by 4.8 percent to 1.07 million mt, but steel pipe exports fell 16.7 percent to 160,000 mt, all compared to December 2012.
