According to the provisional foreign trade statistics compiled by the Turkish Exporters' Association (TIM), in February this year
Turkey's steel exports totaled $1.37 billion in value, increasing by 6.4 percent year on year and up 8.7 percent as compared to the previous month.
In February this year,
Turkey's motor vehicle sector had the highest export value of the country's industrial sectors with $1.64 billion, while steel was the sector with the third highest export value.
On the other hand, in the first two months of this year,
Turkey's steel export value came to $2.6 billion, rising by 16.1 percent year on year.
