Turkey’s steel export value rises 44 percent in January

According to the provisional foreign trade statistics compiled by the Turkish Exporters' Association (TIM), in January this year Turkey's steel exports totaled $978.43 million in value, increasing by 43.47 percent year on year and down 23.21 percent over the previous month. In December last year, Turkey's steel exports had increased by 33.05 percent over November, reaching the highest level achieved in 2010.
