Turkey’s steel export value down 4.77 percent in July from June

According to the provisional foreign trade statistics compiled by the Turkish Exporters' Association (TIM), in July this year Turkey's steel exports totaled $1.24 billion in value, increasing by 22.29 percent year on year but down 4.77 percent from the previous month.

On the other hand, in the first seven months of 2011, Turkey's steel export value came to $9 billion, rising by 31.13 percent as compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
