Turkey's iron and steel exports ranked fourth among the country's products with the highest export value, totaling $674.98 million, up to 14.4 percent from January and decreasing by 21.2 percent year on year. Meanwhile, in the given month the value of exports of articles of iron or steel, which ranked eighth among the products with the highest export value, decreased by 3.82 percent month on month and was down 9.3 percent year on year, amounting to $432.06 million.
In the first two months of this year,
Turkey's iron and steel export value decreased by 23.2 percent to $1.27 billion, while the value of its exports of articles of iron or steel declined by 12.6 percent to $879.95 million, both year-on-year.
