Turkey’s steel bar exports down 20.47 percent in June over May

According to the data provided by the Istanbul Mineral and Metals Exporters' Association (IMMIB), in June this year Turkey's total steel bar exports, including rebar, amounted to $342.12 million in value, increasing by 4.47 percent year on year and down by 20.47 percent month on month.
Meanwhile, in the first half of 2010, Turkey's steel bar exports declined by 28.54 percent, reaching $1.75 billion, compared to the corresponding period of 2009.
