In September this year, Turkey's seamless pipe imports amounted to 18,010 metric tons, down 49 percent year on year, while the value of these imports totaled $29.33 million, down 84.2 percent year on year, according to the statistics provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).
In the January-September period, Turkey's seamless pipe imports decreased by 9.7 percent to 162,543 mt, while the value of these imports amounted to $162.6 million, falling 12.5 percent, both year on year.
In the first nine months, Turkey's seamless pipe imports from China amounted to 92,164 metric tons. China was followed by Ukraine and Germany, with respectively 18,250 metric tons and 10,945 metric tons of seamless pipe exports to Turkey in the given period.
