Turkey’s seamless pipe imports down 10.4 percent in January-October

In October this year, Turkey's seamless pipe imports amounted to 10,703 metric tons, down 40.6 percent month on month and falling by 25.6 percent compared to the corresponding month of the previous year, while the value of these imports decreased by 62.5 percent month on month to $11 million, down 38.33 percent year on year, according to the statistics provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).

In the January-October period, Turkey's seamless pipe imports decreased by 10.4 percent to 174,244 mt, while the value of these imports amounted to $173.6 million, falling 14.7 percent, both year on year.
 
In the first ten months, Turkey's seamless pipe imports from China amounted to 97,770 metric tons. China was followed by Ukraine and Germany, with respectively 18,945 metric tons and 11,585 metric tons of seamless pipe exports to Turkey in the given period.
