Turkey’s rebar exports fall by 17.16 percent in July

According to the statistics provided by the Istanbul Mineral and Metals Exporters' Association (IMMIB), in July this year Turkey's rebar exports amounted to 521,140 metric tons, decreasing by 17.16 percent year on year and up by 6.83 percent from the previous month of this year. Meanwhile, the revenue generated by these exports totaled $366.8 million, rising by 9.19 percent compared to July 2010 and increasing 7.18 percent from the previous month of this year.

Turkey's rebar exports to UAE, the largest rebar export destination of Turkey, declined 28 percent while rebar exports to Colombia increased 37.9 percent, both compared to June this year.
