Turkey's passenger car sales up 22.6 percent in November

According to the statistics released by the Turkish Automotive Distributors Association (ODD), in the first 11 months of this year the domestic passenger car market expanded by 18.53 percent compared to the same period last year, with sales rising to 563,456 units. In November, domestic sales of passenger cars totaled 64,117 units, up 22.6 percent compared to November 2012 and up 36.46 percent month on month.
 
In the first 11 months of the current year, sales of light commercial vehicles in Turkey declined by 14.33 percent year on year to 160,204 units. In November, sales of light commercial vehicles totaled 15,168 units, falling 21.78 percent year on year and up 37.67 percent compared to October this year.
