Turkey-based Celik Makine Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. (Cemtas) has announced that its production halt will now last four weeks instead of the previously announced three weeks, due to operational delays because of occupational health and safety measures. According to the new schedule, the continuous casting line will restart on July 14, while the rolling mill will restart on July 21.

Last month, Cemtas had announced a production halt at its continuous casting line and rolling mill due to modernization work which will enable the company to produce 200 mm x 200 mm square billets.
