Turkey's basic metal turnover up 0.4 percent in March from February

According to the data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in March this year Turkey's monthly industrial turnover index decreased by 1.3 percent compared to the previous month, while the calendar adjusted index was up 7.4 percent compared to March last year.
 
In March of the current year, the industrial turnover index for the manufacture of basic metals in Turkey increased by 0.4 percent month on month and was down 5.9 percent year on year. 
 
The industrial turnover index for fabricated metal product manufacturing in March decreased by 8.1 percent month on month and was up 5.5 percent year on year.
