Turkey’s basic metal production index up four percent in Nov

According to the data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in November 2011 Turkey's monthly industrial production index increased by 8.4 percent year on year, while the seasonal and calendar adjusted industrial production index decreased by 2.5 percent compared to the previous month.

In November, the index for the manufacture of basic metals increased by four percent year on year and was down 10.4 percent from October, while the index for the manufacture of fabricated metal products rose by 17.7 percent year on year and was down by 8.7 percent compared to the previous month.
