According to the data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in December last year Turkey's monthly industrial turnover index increased by 0.5 percent compared to the previous month, while the calendar adjusted index was up 9.4 percent compared to December 2014.
In December last year, the industrial turnover index for the manufacture of basic metals in Turkey decreased by 0.2 percent month on month and was up 0.1 percent year on year. In 2015, the index for the production of basic metals decreased 0.8 compared to 2014.
The industrial turnover index for fabricated metal product manufacturing in December decreased by 5.4 percent month on month and was up 8.3 percent year on year. In 2015, the index for the production of fabricated metal products was up 11.1 on year-on-year basis.
