Turkey's automotive sales up 21.1 percent in November from October

In the January-November period of this year, sales of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Turkey decreased by 14.23 percent year on year to 620,692 units, according to the statistics released by the Turkish Automotive Distributors Association (ODD). In the given period, domestic sales of passenger cars in Turkey decreased by 15.29 percent to 477,277 units, while sales of light commercial vehicles fell by 10.48 percent to 143,415 units, both on year-on-year basis.
 
Meanwhile, in November this year domestic sales of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles increased by 1.66 percent year on year and by 21.1 as compared to October, amounting to 80,621 units. In the given month, domestic sales of passenger cars in the country decreased by 6.9 percent year on year to 59,695 units and increased by 17.48 percent month on month, while sales of light commercial vehicles rose by 37.82 percent year on year to 20,926 units and were up 32.8 percent month on month.
