Turkey's automotive sales down 75.2 percent in January from December

In January this year, sales of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Turkey increased by eight percent year on year and were down by 75.2 percent month on month to 35,323 units, according to the statistics released by the Turkish Automotive Distributors Association (ODD). In the given month, domestic sales of passenger cars in Turkey increased by ten percent year on year and were down by 76.3 percent month on month to 25,689 units, while sales of light commercial vehicles increased by three percent year on year and were down by 71.6 percent month on month to 9,634 units.
