Turkey’s Akdaş commissions new ladle furnace

Turkish plantmaker CVS Makine has announced that the new ladle furnace and vacuum facilities supplied for Turkey-based Akdaş Döküm, one of Europe's leading steel casting companies, have been commissioned, enabling Akdaş to produce a 240 mt single piece casting.
 
Akdaş has already been producing 150 mt single piece castings, achieving a first in the Turkish foundry industry.
